UK Conference — Public Policy and Arbitration

As issues surrounding the intersect of public policy and arbitration grow, this one-day conference, presented by the International Chamber of Commerce, examines the role that arbitrators have in taking public policy considerations into account when conducting an arbitration, the public policy defenses used in arbitrations, and the impact on the recognition and enforcement of awards. Additionally, the public policy implications of an arbitration where states are a party will also be considered.
