Zach is a member of V&E’s worldwide Energy Transactions and Projects practice group. His principal areas of practice are project development, project financings, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions.

Experience Highlights
Stonepeak in the approximately $300 million acquisition of an interest in a portfolio of four U.S. onshore wind projects with a total capacity of 957 MW from Ørsted, including the financing for the consummation of the acquisition
MN8 Energy, a leading renewable energy and battery storage owner-operator in the US, in its agreement with Mercedes-Benz to deliver an open network of branded high-power charging stations in North America
Texas Central Partners as project counsel in the development of a high speed rail project between Houston and Dallas
MN8 Energy (Goldman Sachs Renewable Power) in the establishment of a financing partnership with ChargePoint (NYSE: CHPT) to reduce upfront costs of EV charging technology
Galvanic Energy in its sale of leased acreage to ExxonMobil estimated to contain lithium products to supply 50 million electric vehicles
Archaea Energy in the formation of a joint venture with a waste management company for the development of landfill gas to renewable natural gas projects at various landfills located in the United States
NALA Renewables and Buckeye Partners in connection with the acquisition of and joint venture structuring for, the Swift Current Energy portfolio, a US portfolio of development wind and solar assets in excess of 10GW, including the construction and term financing and tax equity investments in the portfolio assets
Takkion, a portfolio company of Apollo Global Management, in its acquisition of Airway Services, a leading provider of operations and maintenance solutions to the renewable energy industry, from Northaven Capital Partners and Concentric Equity Partners
Trace Midstream, a Quantum Energy Partners portfolio company, in the $950 million sale of Trace’s Haynesville gathering and processing assets to The Williams Companies
Representation of National Renewable Solutions, LLC in the negotiation of an Engineering, Procurement and Supply Contract with GridWorks, Inc. for the development of a 140 MW photovoltaic solar generating facility and 200MW battery energy storage system and the negotiation of a Megapack Supply and Installation Agreement with Tesla, Inc. for 200 MW of grid-scale storage
LSB Industries in its agreement with Lapis Energy for the development of a project to capture and permanently sequester CO2 from ammonia production at LSB’s El Dorado, Arkansas facility
