Vinson & Elkins is a sponsor of the Edison Electric Institute’s (EEI) 2025 Spring Legal Conference taking place in Chicago from April 9-11, 2025. On April 10, partner Jeff Jakubiak will participate on the panel, “Power Demand, AI & Electrification.” An incredible energy transformation is taking place and the electricity sector is working to meet growth in demand from the electrification of transportation, the expansion of manufacturing, and the unprecedented acceleration of AI and data centers. The panel will discuss trends in power demand driven by AI and electrification and strategies to consider.

Edison Electric Institute (EEI) is the association that represents all U.S. investor-owned electric companies. The Spring Legal Conference is a meeting for the General Counsels of shareholder-owned electricity companies to receive updates on new laws and trends in the electric power sector.
