Digital Infrastructure
Vinson & Elkins’ Digital Infrastructure team has more than 30 years of experience in this complex, fast-evolving sector. With deep knowledge and a robust international presence, we know the business in a way no other firm does — and provide thoughtful, sophisticated guidance to every client we serve.
In 2021 and 2022, Vinson & Elkins represented clients on more than 35 digital infrastructure transactions, valued at more than $40 billion.
We work across the sector. Our lawyers advise on transactions in nearly every corner of the digital infrastructure space — data centers, towers, fiber, subsea cable, fixed wireless, digital billboards, and more.
We work around the globe. Our lawyers advise in more than 30 jurisdictions — covering the Americas, Europe, East Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Many of our transactions involve complex cross-border considerations.
We work on wide-ranging deals. Our lawyers negotiate and draft many types of digital infrastructure agreements — joint venture, sale and purchase, equity investment, master lease or services, build-to-suit, site management, and service level, among others.
Vinson & Elkins is one of the only law firms in the U.S. with a dedicated Digital Infrastructure practice. This approach, covering M&A, development, and financing, enables our clients to understand and price the key risks involved in buying, selling, building, and financing digital infrastructure assets.
