Vinson & Elkins’ Dublin office opened in 2024. Located in the heart of Dublin’s city centre, the office is home to lawyers from the firm’s corporate department who work closely with colleagues from across our network of offices, particularly in New York and London, to support clients with interests in the global aviation sector.
Our Dublin office was established to provide on-the-ground New York and English law advice to clients primarily based in Ireland. The team dedicate their practice to a broad range of aviation leasing and financing matters, including asset backed securitizations, unsecured loans, warehouse financings, joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, private equity investments, portfolio acquisitions and restructurings. The office’s client base includes a wide spectrum of industry participants, from some of the world’s leading financial institutions, to airlines, aircraft leasing companies and private investors. Our global Aviation Finance practice was launched in 2022 and has since earned regular recognition, including being ranked by Chambers 2024 for Transportation: Aviation: Finance and Legal 500 2024 for Transport: Aviation and Air Travel – Finance.
