Chambers USA 2023 Recognizes Vinson & Elkins’ Corporate and Tax Departments in 35 Practice Categories, 91* Individual Lawyer Rankings
Vinson & Elkins announced today that its Corporate and Tax departments collectively achieved 16 Band 1 practice rankings in Chambers USA 2023: Nationwide – Energy Transition; Energy: Oil & Gas (Transactional); Offshore Energy; Projects: Oil & Gas; Projects: Power & Renewables (Transactional); Texas – Banking & Finance; Bankruptcy/Restructuring; Capital Markets: Debt & Equity; Corporate/M&A: The Elite; Real Estate; Tax; Technology: Corporate & Commercial; Austin – Corporate/M&A; Dallas – Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation; and New York Bankruptcy/Restructuring: Highly Regarded; Corporate/M&A: Takeover Defense.
The firm’s Corporate and Tax departments received six new practice rankings and 15 new individual rankings. Nineteen individuals from these departments received Band 1 recognition, including six who were newly promoted to Band 1 this year. The Corporate and Tax departments achieved 126 combined practice and individual rankings, with the firm’s overall total standing at 217.
*71 Corporate and Tax attorneys were recognized, with many ranked in more than one category.
