Marine Money Selects Two Vinson & Elkins Matters as 2023 Deals of the Year
Marine Money highlighted two Vinson & Elkins matters as the most notable transactions in 2023. In the “M&A Deal of the Year” category, the publication recognized the firm’s role in advising Crowley Maritime Corporation and Crowley Wind Services Holdings, LLC in a joint venture with Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners (MSIP) focused on advancing offshore wind energy solutions in the United States.
The Vinson & Elkins corporate team was led by partners Matt Falcone, John Michael and senior associate Jordan Fossee. Marine Money also credited Vinson & Elkins with working on the “Offshore West – Acquisition Financing” deal of the year in 2023. The accolade recognized the firm’s advisory role to Tidewater Inc. on its definitive agreement to acquire 37 platform supply vessels from Solstad Offshore ASA for $577 million.
