MoneyGram International to be Acquired by Madison Dearborn Partners in $1.8B Transaction

Vinson & Elkins advised MoneyGram International, Inc., a global leader in the evolution of digital P2P payments, in connection with its entry into a definitive agreement under which funds affiliated with Madison Dearborn Partners, LLC will acquire all outstanding shares of MoneyGram for $11.00 per share in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $1.8 billion.
