Three Vinson & Elkins Attorneys Receive Texas Lawyer 2023 “On the Rise” Award

The award recognizes lawyers under the age of 40 who have wielded influence in their practice areas in Texas and beyond. Hammond, Falcone and Marshall are among 29 Texas attorneys to be honored.

Hammond, a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice in Dallas, focuses on the acquisition, development, financing and disposition of commercial real estate projects across a variety of asset types during all stages of the economic cycle. In addition to her experience with commercial real estate purchase and sale transactions, joint ventures, and construction and permanent financings, she also represents clients with respect to real estate aspects of mergers and acquisitions transactions.

Falcone, a member of the firm’s Energy Transactions and Projects Practice in Houston, advises private equity firms, other financial sponsors and public and private companies in connection with strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, leveraged buyouts, structured financings and other special situations transactions. Matt works with clients across a variety of industries, but with a particular focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors, including the renewable and sustainable energy and traditional hydrocarbon segments.

Serving as a deputy practice group leader in the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets Practice in the Dallas office, Marshall  represents private equity funds and other financial sponsors in acquisitions, dispositions and equity financing transactions. His work spans a range of industries, including infrastructure, renewables, consumer technology, healthcare and retail.
