Vast To Go Public Through Business Combination With Nabors Energy Transition Corp.
Vinson & Elkins advised Nabors Energy Transition Corporation, a special purpose acquisition company formed by Nabors Industries Ltd. in 2021, in connection with its entry into a definitive agreement for a business combination with Vast Pty Ltd (“Vast”), a renewable energy company specializing in concentrated solar power energy systems that generate zero-carbon, utility-scale electricity and industrial heat.
The combination would result in Vast becoming a publicly-listed company on the NYSE under the ticker symbol “VSTE”.
