Charlie is Counsel in our International Dispute Resolution practice group, and is a leading international construction disputes lawyer focusing on complex, multi-jurisdictional construction, engineering, energy and infrastructure projects.
Recommended by Global Arbitration Review in the 2024 GAR 30 guide, Charlie is highly experienced in both international arbitration and High Court litigation in the Technology and Construction Court.
Charlie previously worked in-house for a leading consulting engineering company, both in the UK and Australia, with a particular emphasis on providing legal and commercial advice in respect of highways and major construction projects.

Acting on several ICC and treaty arbitrations in connection with disputes arising from the design and construction of a major maritime project in Central America
Acting for a world-leading chemical production company in connection with disputes relating to the design and construction of a leading chemical facility located in Russia
Acted for an international design engineering consultancy in respect of allegations of defective design of five multi-level car parks at retail sites
Represented a structural design engineer and its professional indemnity insurer in respect of defects to multiple wind turbine generator foundations across five wind farm sites
Represented a leading property and infrastructure practice in defence, and subsequent strike out of a Technology and Construction Court claim arising out of alleged defects to a proprietary modular car park system
