Claire is an Associate in the National Security Reviews (CFIUS) and Export Controls & Economic Sanctions practice groups, based in Washington, DC. Her practice focuses on helping clients navigate complex regulatory issues relating to national security and international trade. She has broad experience in representations relating to sanctions, export controls, import/customs, and national security review and foreign investment filings, including before the U.S. Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), and U.S. Department of State’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC).
Claire joins Vinson & Elkins with substantial experience in international law and policy spaces, including over five years working for the U.S. Department of State.
