  • Acting on a number of ICC arbitrations in connection with the design and construction of a major maritime project in Central America

  • Conduct of ICC arbitration (Geneva Seat) on behalf of a JV arising out of Middle Eastern petrochemical project. The value of the dispute is at $250m+ and covers a wide range of delay and disruption claims, together with over 400 smaller value additional cost claims and back charges

  • Acting for the EPCM contractor in a London-seated ICC arbitration relating to the construction of a petrochemical facility in the Middle East; successfully defending counterclaims in excess of USD 500M

  • Advising the main contractor to the redevelopment of a North Sea oil & gas project involving an FPSO with regard to issues arising both up and down the contractual chain, with particular emphasis on almost two years of COVID and hardline lockdown related delays arising out of fabrication in China

  • Advising an EPC contractor in relation to various disputes, including time, variation and defect claims, arising from the design and construction of an offshore gas processing platform

  • Acting for an EPC contractor in an adjudication proceeding involving variations, EOT and prolongation claims concerning the design and construction of a blast furnace at a steel works plant

  • Advising an international contractor in relation to issues arising out the construction of an offshore wind farm

  • Advising an employer in relation to time and cost claims received from an EPC contractor in relation to the design and construction of a power plant in East Africa

  • Acting for a design engineer in an adjudication regarding disputed variation and EOT claims on the design and construction of a highway and related infrastructure

  • Acting in an arbitration and court proceedings for an employer in a dispute regarding the design and construction of a stock-feed mill and process plant

  • Acting for the lead mechanical subcontractor in an expert determination and multiple adjudication proceedings in a dispute concerning the mechanical works package on a PPP hospital project

  • Acting for a lead subcontractor in an adjudication concerning disputed variation and time claims on a football stadium

  • Advising an employer of a bio-fuel power plant in relation to various claims made under a long term fuel supply agreement, including claims in respect of delay and breach of quality obligations
