Patrick’s practice focuses primarily on advising private and public companies, private equity funds, family offices and management teams in connection with corporate matters and strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, project development, and other financing transactions. He has extensive experience advising clients investing in the energy and infrastructure industries.

Represented Validus Energy Holdings II LLC, in its acquisition of Citizen Energy Operating, LLC
Represented FourPoint Resources, LLC, Quantum Capital Group and Kayne Anderson in their $2.0 billion dollar acquisition of oil and gas properties in the Uintah Basin from Ovintiv Inc.
PureWest Energy, a leading Rocky Mountain independent natural gas producer, in the completion of an all-cash merger with a newly formed entity sponsored by a private consortium of family offices and financial institutions, for a total consideration of $1.84 billion
Apollo Global Management in connection with the sale by New Fortress Energy (“NFE”) of 11 LNG infrastructure vessels to a newly formed venture owned approximately 80% by Apollo-managed funds and 20% by NFE, in a transaction valued at approximately $2 billion
Northwoods Management Company in connection with its acquisition by OneRock Energy Holdings
Continental Grain Company in connection with various investments, including investments in Refresco, Florida Food Products and Hissho Sushi
