Rajesh D. Patel

Rajesh has prosecuted U.S. and international patents based on a diverse range of technologies, including those relating to gasification processes, LNG processes, oil and gas downhole technology, oil extraction technology, oil field services, reservoir optimization processes, water purification systems, flameless combustion technology, hydrogen fuel cell technology, fuse and fuse chip technology, electrical wiring device technology, lighting technology, coolers, medical devices and software technology.

Rajesh counsels clients on a variety of intellectual property-related matters, including researching competitor IP activities, assisting with agreement work, preparing patent filings, advising on design-around options, and issuing opinions on matters such as freedom to operate, infringement, non-infringement, and invalidity.

Prior to his legal career, Rajesh worked as a Process Design Engineer for Fluor Corporation and Jacobs Engineering Group, where he designed chemical plants for a variety of notable clients. This experience included designing grass-roots chemical plants and capital expansions to existing chemical plants from front-end design through the detailed engineering design phase.
