Rimal is a member of V&E’s worldwide Energy Transactions and Projects practice group. Her principal areas of practice are representing tax equity investors, private equity funds, sponsors, lenders, borrowers, and other investors in the financing, acquisition and development of electric-generating facilities employing renewable technologies, including wind, solar, and battery storage.

  • Tax equity investor in a $150 million financing of a portfolio of residential solar projects in multiple states

  • Tax equity investor in a $47 million financing of a 47.7 MW utility-scale solar renewable energy portfolio in Virginia

  • Tax equity investor in a $696 million financing of a 1000 MW portfolio of solar and wind power assets in Oklahoma, Maine, California, Kansas and Arizona

  • Tax equity investor in a $636 million financing of a 1043 MW portfolio of solar and wind power assets in Texas and California

  • Borrower in a $9 billion petrochemical expansion project and release of shareholder guarantees in Saudi Arabia

  • Tax equity investor in an acquisition of a 160 MW wind energy project in Texas

  • International Energy Company in the sale of a $80 million portfolio of solar assets in Canada

  • Tax equity investor in a $75 million investment in distributed power solar generation projects in multiple states

  • Lender in a $100 million back-leverage to term loan facility to finance 48.7 MW of community distributed generation solar projects in New York

  • Lender in a $450 million construction loan facility to finance fit out of 88MW data center in Virginia
