Rupert is a Senior Associate in our International Construction Disputes team based in London. Rupert has extensive experience in handling major and highly technical construction, engineering and energy-related disputes across various industries and for a range of stakeholders within the supply chain. Rupert’s experience in representing clients extends throughout Central and North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australasia.

Acting on several ICC and treaty arbitrations in connection with disputes arising from the design and construction of a major maritime project in Central America
Acting for an international EPCM contractor in ICC arbitration proceedings in respect of disputes arising from a world-class petrochemical complex in the Middle East
Acting for a world-leading chemical production company in connection with disputes relating to the design and construction of a leading chemical facility located in Russia
Acting for an international multi-disciplinary designer in ICC arbitration in respect of a major rail project in the Middle East
Representing an international contractor in LCIA arbitration in respect of a major multi-purpose development in Russia
Acting for an international designer in respect of disputes arising in connection with a power generation facility at the Mount Pleasant military complex on the Falkland Islands (including defending injunction proceedings for access to a licensed project management software program)
Representing a European energy developer in defending claims for scope change and extensions of time in connection to an anaerobic digestion facility located in the United Kingdom
Advising a global energy company in respect of claims relating to a major terrorist incident and the COVID-19 pandemic in connection with an energy facility in Mozambique
Represented a global engineering firm in adjudication proceedings in respect of myriad disputes in connection with the Olympic Stadium Transformation Project in London
Acting for a major UK contractor in defending claims concerning allegations of latent defects in the design of an electrical system in a data centre in the United Kingdom
Acting for a contractor in serial adjudications in respect of disputes arising in connection with the design and build of special purpose vehicles to be used in the mining industry in Australia
